My name is Rodolfo Sáenz and I am 58 years old. I started making bamboo furniture when I was 17 years old. At the age of 24, I moved to Belgium where I had the opportunity to teach a course in the south of France on bamboo furniture. Upon returning to Costa Rica, I shifted my focus to bamboo construction and started working with materials such as acrilla and adobe. I completed several projects using bamboo and barro. For over 10 years, I have been conducting numerous courses on house construction, bamboo furniture making, and working with adobe.
